I was in a surprisingly good mood when I returned home yesterday, considering the chain of small catastrophes that led up to my arrival. I boarded the wrong train (it made me feel better that a few other guys did the same thing...apparently they briefly posted the wrong train on the wrong track), left my T Pass on the wrong train while I was attempting to catch my train (which I missed), and then my newly purchased umbrella broke...right before my walk home in the rain. I happened to be walking by Brooks, where I bought the umbrella last week, right after the damn thing broke. Of course, I did not have a receipt which would have allowed me to return it, but I felt obligated to tell them about their faulty product regardless of the situation. So I did.
In other news, I am very excited to see the movie "Garden State", which will be coming out at the end of July. I'm not sure if I've ever been so captivated by a trailer before (which Steve and I watched several times last night), but watch this, and tell me you don't have any interest in seeing the movie. The trailer has also gotten me interested in the music of Frou Frou (or is it the other way around?) which serves as the background audio -- but enough of this love talk...
