I have no cohesive way to put together what I want to write in the blog today, so this will be an entirely random compilation of, well, I'm not sure. Here we go...
Last night, I was in line at the grocery store behind a woman who was purchasing 3 items: One package of plastic hangers, one carton of cherry tomatoes, and a boogie board. I could not help but wonder which one of those items was an impulse buy and, if none of them were, what she was thinking when she wrote down that grocery list. Also, since when can you buy a boogie board at Star Market?
If I were to pick a place to live, based completely on the name of my location, these would be the contenders:
1. Cochabamba, Bolivia
2. Wallawalla, Washington
3. Rancho Cucamunga, California
4. Intercourse, Pennsylvania
While listening to "Maps" by The Yeah Yeah Yeah's (thanks, Mr. Bean), I started thinking that it would be entertaining to make a Mix CD comprised entirely of song titles which are plural nouns. This is what I've got so far:
1. Maps (Yeah Yeah Yeah's)
2. Clocks (Coldplay)
3. Cathedrals (Jump, Little Children)
4. Bunnies (Howie Day)
5. Wild Horses (Rolling Stones)
6. Stick Shifts & Safety Belts (Cake)
I know from my trusty "Hit Counter" that this site has been viewed about 200 times in the past few weeks, but there have been no comments in over a week. I'm thinking that it can't just be Hufton accessing this page 10 times a day, so I encourage you silent readers to step forward...Feel free to tell me what song you would add to the list or just let me know that I'm certifiably insane/inane. Over and out.
