The Boston Ave collective video game addiction reared its ugly head yet again on Friday night in response to the delivery of "Halo" to our bright red door. Between the hours of 6:00 pm and 1:30 am, there were at least two people playing at any given time. I personally logged about 2.5 hours...and I was the last to join. Even Steve and Hufton, who typically play only moderate amounts of Tiger Woods Golf, have been transformed. Hufton calls it "the closest thing I have to an addiction", while Steve claims to see game scenarios in his sleep.

On Saturday, Irf, Hufton, Steve, and I decided it was time to purchase Amy's wedding present, so the four of us went to Pier One and purchased a Shogun Floor Screen, an event that will likely never be repeated. Following that, we ate lunch outside at Uno's, seated next to a woman who decided to sit on the lap of her significant other for most of the meal (she must not have noticed the other chair at the table). Later in the evening, we hit up the Hong Kong in Harvard Square, where we consumed many scorpion bowls. I think the cheap liquor is still eating away at the lining of my stomach. We came home and played some ill-advised games of flip cup, then Steve and Irf played Halo until 4:00 am. That is all for now, but don't you worry, there's more where that came from.
