Abra Cadaver!

So I stole the title from one of the songs on the new Hives album...it seemed fitting.

Thanks to HBO On Demand, I caught up on a little Six Feet Under after work yesterday. Some people claim that the show has gone "over the edge" as of late. After watching cadavers being thrown around in the street, guys free-basing crack while driving a van, and one of those very same guys relieving himself in an alley, I can kind of see what they're getting at. I'm still going to watch it, though.

I am not looking forward to the DNC next week. I am a registered Democrat, but it is more a matter of being personally inconvenienced for five straight days because of the convention. Typically, I take the commuter rail to North Station, get on the World Trade shuttle bus, and make it to work in about 35 minutes. Yesterday, I took a bit of a test run on the route which I will have to take during the DNC, since North Station will be closed. I caught the bus from Boston Ave at 8:10, got to Davis Square at 8:20, took the Red Line to South station, took the World trade shuttle bus from there, and got to work at 9:15. One hour and 5 minutes -- a full 30 minutes longer to travel from the same point A to the same point B. I guess my days will be an hour shorter next week.

Today's question: Which would you prefer to watch...Tom and Jerry or Tom and Jerry?
