Yesterday, Brendan was talking with our landlord and couldn't help but correct him when he mentioned that he had spoken with "Ralph" earlier in the day.  Brendan spilled the beans and told him that my name was, in fact, Brian.  Apparently, our landlord continued to refer to me as "Ralph" throughout the conversation anyway. 
 
I'm working a half day today, so I can meet Irf at South Station around 2:30 to catch a bus to New York.  We'll be staying with Alexander Spiro the Great, pioneer of nose-fondling, developer of Spiro Logic, and, most recently, the creative force behind the naming of "The Mullato" (See 6.28.04 entry).  Interestingly enough, Dairy Queen has just named their new coffee drink "The MooLatte".  Hey, at least we were trying to be offensive.  As Jerry Seinfeld might say, who are the ad wizards who came up with this?!?
 
Depending on the computer access available to me at Spiro's, I may attempt a first-ever weekend blog entry or two.  Aren't you excited?  What?  Fine!  I didn't even want you to be, anyway.
