You Don't Know Jack
There was a fairly healthy showing at the polls yesterday, with the only vote in Jack's favor (other than Jack's vote for himself) coming from James Earl Jones. Unfortunately, this voting seemed to turn into a contest of who could be the most vulgar. Though I gave one person the "ok" for their language, a few of the comments got slightly out of hand and even appeared to have been written by the same person, who will remain nameless, since my PARENTS read this occasionally and I would not want them to be embarassed upon their next meeting. The polls remain open, though hopefully we might get some responses with real names/established aliases and without excessive profanity. Here is an excerpt from Jack's comment:
Brian -
If we were gone for a extended three day weekend the argument might be made against being "allowed" to pick up the phone. As it is, we are gone from friday through tuesday (5 days). The typical work WEEK is five days long. THis is not a bachelor weekend, this is a bachelor week and calling Meg is not a silly desire, it is called common courtesy.

Jackie Pants,
I will correct you in your time estimates, as we will be gone approximately 96 hours, or 4 days. You will see "The Fiancee" (I'm hoping to create a new reality show out of this) on both Friday and Tuesday. We're figuring that if you are planning on giving her 50 years of your time, we'd like 4 days. Sound reasonable? Also, nobody else will be calling their significant others during this bachelor party weekend...so we think you can make it.

Well, now that we've gotten that squared away, I'm afraid I'm almost out of time here. For now, you can read about this sadistic bar promo. I'm out.
