Looks like someone's got a case of the "Mondays"

I'm back from a fairly rainy and generally unproductive weekend. The good news is that the Patriots won, though I guess I wasn't expecting them to lose to Arizona.

On Friday, I drove into Boston and dropped off Jimmy and Mike at Avalon so they could see some DJ that I've never heard of. Hufton and Irf always used to go see DJ's at Avalon, so this was an activity that I was very familiar with. Timmy and I stayed home and watched the Red Sox, rejoicing in their comeback victory by throwing the overhead two-handed high five, with an occasional "Yes!" and "Woo!" thrown in for good measure. As Mike walked in the door by himself at 1:30, I realized that Jimmy and Mike have gone out to the bar 3 times together and have yet to successfully arrive back to Boston Ave together. They got split up, as usual, and took separate cabs home.

Everyone I talked to on Saturday said that they didn't have any plans, so I attempted to put together a little get-together at our place on Saturday night. Attendance was sparse, but I think most people enjoyed themselves. Sarah Adams and I cleaned up in a serious way on the Beirut table, beating what seemed to be every possible permutation of party guests before we ran out of willing opponents and retired as champions. I ordered 3 pizzas at the end of the night, but was unable to stay awake long enough to see them. Luckily, I snagged a few left-over pieces when I woke up. Nothing says "Good Morning" like Domino's.
