Mr. Mestee Goes to Washington

Hey, how's it going? Oh, really? That's good. It's Friday, it's sunny, and the Patriots won their first game of the season, so there's not much to complain about. We set up the projection TV last night and found out what it was like to play Halo on an 80-inch screen with surround sound. I swear, there is a whole lot of technology going on in our house these days, but a statement like "whole lot of technology" should help to indicate that I'm not the source of said gadgets.

I just booked my trip to DC, which will be two weeks from today. It will be nice to see some of my peeps, and also to spend some time in the city. I haven't been down there since I stayed at Georgetown with Hufton during spring break of my senior year at UNH. That was also the last time I flew on a plane. It's not that I haven't traveled since then, it's just that my last major travelling experience was courtesy of Tully's Ford Focus, all the way to New Orleans. Now that's what you call travelling in style.
I'm afraid that there's not much more for me to talk about. I will remind you that writing in to the MesteeBlogger makes my job easier and typically yields a better entry, so expressing your comments, questions, and concerns is always encouraged.

In case you were wondering, here is the reason why the saying "You can't swing an alligator by the tail without hitting David Havenner's girlfriend" has become very popular in Daytona Beach. Have a good weekend.
