It was a busy weekend, to say the least. I had Friday off from work, but it wasn't full of much rest or relaxation. I dropped my car off in the morning to get inspected, then went to the bank to make a deposit and to Hair's Karen to get my haircut. The lady at Hair's Karen was very, very afraid to cut more than a centimeter of my hair off before asking me for further approval to cut it shorter, so it turned out to be one of the lengthiest sessions I had ever experienced at my unisex salon of choice. The lady even offered to trim my eyebrows, but after seeing her attempts at trimming my sideburns, I immediately declined.

After the slowest haircut ever, I picked walked to the auto shop to pick up my car, then picked up Sarah at her house, so we could go out to lunch. After lunch, I picked up Steve at Boston Ave, picked up Irf and Julia in Londonderry, picked up Hufton at Manchester Airport, then the five of us went to the Mall of New Hampshire so Irf and Hufton could get their tuxedos for the wedding. Julia, Steve, and I took this time to get giant pretzels in novelty flavors like "Cinnamon Sugar" and "Glazin' Raisin". When Julia bought her pretzel, they gave her a coupon which read "Buy one pretzel and Large Drink, get one pretzel free". Steve and I couldn't resist, so we got our pretzels, along with a drink that contained more lemonade than any person should ever drink in any given year. We realized, once we hit the road on our way to Durham for the rehearsal dinner, that this ridiculous cup didn't fit in the cup holder, so Steve had to occasionally extend his arm in front of me while I was driving, so as to allow me to drink from the straw. Come to think of it, the cup holder didn't really affect that situation.

We got up to Durham around 6:15 that night and had some food before we started rehearsal. The whole rehearsal and dinner took about three hours, after which we all went to the Three Chimney's Tavern for a few post-rehearsal drinks, then headed back to Medford shortly after 11:00 pm. Right after we got back at 12:30, Hufton and I decided to meet up with Jen and Sarah at McGoon's Saloon in Somerville. We had a drink there and then walked back to Sarah and Jen's apartment so Hufton could check it out. Hufton and I, along with Sarah, Jen, their two roommates and the guy that lives upstairs from them, went back to Boston Ave to hang out for a while and finish up the night.

That's all for now...I'll tell you about the actual wedding day tomorrow.

This is what I call multi-tasking.
