Go ask the school nurse...she's got like 5 sticks in her drawer!
I hate to admit it, but our party on Friday was LAME (with, as you'll note, not only a capital "L", but also a capital A, M, and E). It was nice to catch up with some people I hadn't seen in a while, but as Boston Ave parties go, it was about as tame a get-together as I can imagine. It's difficult to say whether it wasn't fun because people weren't up for partying or people weren't up for partying because it wasn't fun, but either way, almost everyone left before 1:00 AM.
It was a pretty quiet weekend all around, actually. We stayed in Saturday night and watched some hoops and then rented "Mean Girls" on demand. I'm not sure which makes us more effeminate, watching "Mean Girls" or when we used to watch "Sex in the City" with the former Boston Ave crew. In my defense, Mike and Jimmy decided to get the movie -- I just, uh, happened to be on the couch when it was on. I only thought it was sort of entertaining. Plus, I'm only mildly interested in seeing the new Bridget Jones movie. See? I'm practically overflowing with testosterone.
Speaking of testosterone, Steve sent me some Halloween pictures a while ago, but due to some technical difficulties, I have not been able to share them with you until now. Below is a picture of Steve and his roommate dressed as Napoleon and Pedro from "Napoleon Dynamite", with a picture of the real Napoleon and Pedro below that. See if you can tell the difference.
If you're looking to torment your co-workers, you can use these pictures as inspiration. The photo on the bottom is what we had in mind for Irf's room when he left in the spring...if only those packing peanuts weren't so damn expensive.
