Hey Low

I'm beginning to wonder if I should post on a daily basis anymore, since it seems like less and less people are reading and/or participating in MesteeBlogger these days. I suppose I'll continue the daily posts for a few more days, but we'll see what happens after that.

Last night, this was my "to do" list:

-Do laundry
-Go to Gym
-Mail Check for Credit card
-Pay Cable/Internet bill
-Buy Fish Food (Yes, we still have one left)
-Remove Dead fish from tank

I managed to do not one of these items, so I felt pretty productive. In my defense, I wasn't actually too lazy to remove the dead fish from the tank -- I just forgot. I really don't have an excuse for the rest of the items on the list, though...except that I worked late and I was really tired.

Jimmy went to New Hampshire last night to get his reserved copy of Halo 2. He arrived back at Boston Ave around 9:00, so Mike and I got a chance to try out the game with him. Not so surprisingly, Mike figured out how to use all of the new weapons within the first 30 seconds, while Jimmy and I hopelessly trying to avoid getting killed. Mike won the first few games (8 minutes, timed) by a score of 15 to 1 to 0 and then 15 to 3 to 1. After two less-than-stellar second place finishes, I saw a trend developing and didn't feel the need to spend the rest of the night getting stabbed with energy swords by Mike. This reminds me of our theory that you can never sound remotely cool talking about video games. I believe we first stumbled upon this during our first month at Boston Ave, when we didn't have cable and relied on MarioKart to keep us entertained. Sample dialogue:

Brendan: You guys are all going to slip on my banana peels.
Irf: No way, I'm going to use my lightning!
Hufton: I've got red turtle shells!
Brian: Not any more, I stole them with my ghost!
Steve: Hey, this is only a four player game!

Okay, anyway, you get the point...never cool to talk about video games. Well, that's all from me today. Read this for further entertainment.
