The Human Torch was Denied a Bank Loan

Hey, I'm back from a brief vacation from both work and blogging. Did you miss me? I thought so. Anyway, I watched Achorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy last night, as some of you may have guessed from the title of this entry. I can't say say that I can recommend this movie yet, mostly because I fell asleep during the middle third of it...but all you need is the beginning and end anyway, right?
I enjoyed my break from the working world and got to spend some Q.T. with family and friends. We enjoyed all of our Adams Family Christmas traditions, except we chose to forgo the a capella performance of "The 12 Days of Christmas", which was sprung from the fact that we generally have 12 of us at the dinner table. I think I did a bang-up job with "6 Geese a Laying" last year, and my cousin Katie certainly did justice to "5 Golden Rings", but those giving suspect performances seemed to be happy that we didn't go through with it this year.

On Monday, Hufton and I went down to Medford to hang out. We went to Uno's in Porter Square and were later joined by Irf. After making ourselves uncomfortably full, we went back to Boston Ave, watched the Red Sox NESN DVD, and played a good amount of Halo on the XBox. I'm wondering how old I'll be when I stop going to bed at 4:00 AM on a semi-regular basis.

Oh yeah...I got a bunch of nice gifts on Saturday, including a nice Wilson driver, which can only help my golf game, and a digital camera, which may change the blog as you know it. Post a comment and tell everyone about your favorite or least favorite gift. If it's your least favorite gift, at least make sure that I wasn't the one who gave the gift to you. Bob from Boise, I'm looking in your direction.

I'll change that poll eventually, just not today. Any suggestions for future poll questions are also welcome.
