Cry Me a River
The good news: I thought I lost my passport, but it turns out that it somehow migrated to Hufton's pocket.
The bad news: Through poor communication (I'll take the blame for this one) I scheduled my flight home a day after Hufton, Katie, and Maren. I've spent the day wandering the streets of Paris.
I tried to see Jim Morrison's grave this morning, but the cemetary was mysteriously closed, with the entrance gates crowded by confused tourists and the only English signage curiously reading "DANGER!". The weather remains crappy, so I watched another movie at the theater near the Champs-Elysees. Yesterday, we watched "Neverland", the latest Johnny Depp movie. If you see that movie and don't shed a tear in the last ten minutes, you are clearly a robot devoid of human emotion. Hufton and I wept with the old French housewives who had joined us at the weekday matinee. Must...return home...before France...takes...away...all...masculinity. Mestee out.
