Swedes for Wheat

If you haven't heard this song yet, you should. It's the semi-official theme song for a group called Americans for Rice, who are not as much pro-grain citizens of the United States, but rather a group of folks who would like Condoleeza Rice to run for President in 2008. I imagine a video for such a song would feature shirtless men in cut-off shorts waving rainbow flags. Judging by Condoleeza's reaction to the song, it appears that she agrees. My favorite parts are:

1) The presence of a what sounds like a xylophone solo followed by a trumpet solo in the instrumental section.
2) The part at the end where they steal the melody from George Harrison's "My Sweet Lord" chorus and change the words from the original "Hare Krishna...Hare Hare" to "Condo-Leeza...Condi Condi".

I found this guy's list of "Who are the best/worst looking celebs on HDTV" to be sort of intriguing, though I'm not sure why.

I wonder if this was the same steep mountain that Brendan and I climbed in Prague, only to find out that there was a gradually-sloped paved path that lead all the way up the other side.
