You hear that beat don't ya? That's just Timmy talkin...
Top o' the mornin' to ya! Oh, that was yesterday. Sorry.
The results have been in for quite a while, but here they are anyway: When asked which instruments were used to create the "Law and Order Sound", 30% of you decided that the sound was made by a combination of a Curling Iron and Chihuahua. Twenty-five percent of you went with Cowbell and Kazoo, which tied with Glockenspiel and Kettle Drum. The highly unlikely Banjo received only 15%, but you thought that Marimba and Triangle, with 5%, was the least likely of all. One person refused to acknowledge that any of these combinations were the possible source of the sound...
Mestee,
The Law and Order sound is generated electronically, and not from any sort of traditional instrument. It's probably not even *supposed* to sound like a particular instrument. If it does, it's only a coincidence.
Waa waa waa...
Guess Who
GW,
I hate you.
Seriously,
Brian
March Madness is alive and well in Medford. All current residents of Boston Ave plus Sheri and Leighann stayed in to watch the first round of the NCAA tournament. During one of the games, Leighann stated that she would be "shocked if Tim could be quiet for 5 minutes". Timmy took this as a challenge and immediately stopped talking. A look of anger and frustration crossed his face as we all made observations about the situation as if he couldn't hear us. He almost broke as I suggested he would probably talk twice as much as soon as his time was up, but Leighann corrected me, saying he would just be twice as loud. Timmy successfully kept quiet for 5 minutes, and the night ended with little more excitement.
I cooked up some Ralph Surprise for the first time in a while. Shrimp was on sale this week, so that got thrown into the mix as well. I haven't yet settled on an alternate name to the dish which would indicate the presence of shrimp, though I have been throwing around X-treme Ralph Surprise and Ralph Surprise Deluxe. The slightly classier Ralph Surprise con Frutti Di Marre has also been considered.
You want to buy Pedro's house? No, not Pedro Martinez...Pedro Sanchez. Gosh!
Listen to a few songs from the new Beck album, Guerro. It should be out in the next week or so.
Just when you thought you had a good memory...you read about these guys.
Have a good weekend.
