I made the trek to DC this morning, and now I'm just sitting in Irf's apartment, waiting for him and Julia to get home from work. My flight left Manchester at 7:30 AM, getting me to Baltimore a little before 9:00 AM. I took the 10 o'clock MARC train into the city, jumped on the Metro, and met Irf at Dupont Circle a little after 11:00. He gave me the keys to his apartment so I could walk back and unload my bags, then meet him back at Dupont for lunch around 2:00. In the meantime, I finally figured out how to load my pictures onto the computer (Oh, you have to turn the camera on when you plug it into the computer? How could I possibly know that?). I decided to take advantage of my quick access to photos by making Irfan strike effeminate poses with his red umbrella in front of his workplace:
