We usually play poker on Wednesdays, but Timmy won't be around this Wednesday, so we played last night instead. When trying to figure out why we always play on Wednesdays, I realized that Rudman made the suggestion that this would be a good day for him. This is interesting, because Rudman has never actually played with us. Anyway, I made about as early an exit as one can make without actually trying to lose. In the forty-five minutes I played for, I didn't manage to win a single hand. As Brendan pointed out, I failed to use either of my patented strategies: The Play N' Stay or The Sandman. The Play N' Stay is one I almost always implement, where I basically hang on for dear life, barely able to pay the blinds, and allow the other players to knock each other out, which guarantees me at least second place (so I get my money back). The Sandman, as I believe I explained last week, is when you nickel and dime your opponent until it is way past their bedtime. This usually leads to them either making foolish decisions as a result of fatigue, or going all in at an inopportune time (as was the case when I beat Jimmy two weeks ago). Oh yeah, as for the rest of the game, Brendan ended up in the finals against Timmy. With both of them all in and four out of five cards laid on the table, Timmy had all but won and Brendan's only chance at victory was for a queen to fall. It did. Timmy was rightfully outraged and Brendan clenched his cheeks tight, hoping to keep the horseshoe from falling out.

Day Two of the no-door shower felt a little more natural, maybe even liberating. Perhaps I'll never close the bathroom door again, even when it's back on. Even Sheri considered giving the "no-door" a shot, but later chickened out and used the back bathroom.

Thanks to Jenn Hufton for providing this game. To play, slide your mouse back and forth, left and right. My PR is 68 meters.

I could have used clocky this morning.
