Crisis Averted
Hola. Me llamo Brian. Me gusta MesteeBlogger.
About a month ago, I was looking for the leather CD case that I keep at my desk, when I realized it wasn't there. Coincidentally, the girl who had shared my desk was fired the day before, so I assumed that she had taken a farewell present...namely a book of my favorite CD's. I hate buying CD's twice, but it looked like that was going to be my new, harsh reality if I ever wanted to hear those CD's again. Suddenly, there was a break in the case of the missing CD's. Yesterday, while I was looking for my padlock to bring to the gym, I found not only the leather CD case, but also three other CD's which I thought I had lost for good. The benefit of being someone who loses things on a semi-regular basis is that sometimes, even on a Thursday in June, it feels just like Christmas.
I spent last night watching the Spurs win the Championship and then listening while Brendan played me clips of William Hung singing Circle of Life, Hotel California, and Rocket Man. It's truly hard to believe that this guy is making money off of his lack of talent. If only I could find a way to make money off of something I'm really bad at. Think there's any money in videos of terrible waterskiing? I suppose you'd have to be at least good enough to stand up on the skis, so I guess that's out.
Unfortunately, MesteeBlogger didn't make Time Magazine's list of 50 Best Websites. Maybe next year.
