Interesting weekend. I decided to take a quick nap on Saturday before going to the gym, but when I woke up, I was freezing. That wouldn't be strange if I had air conditioning in my room, but I don't. I walked downstairs, sat on the couch, and immediately felt dizzy. Before long, I was vomiting exorcist-style. Hmm...what could be the problem? After the first of many turns driving the porceline steering wheel, I realized that my shin was really sore. Wait a second...these are all the symptoms I had when I was bitten by a spider 3 years ago. Guess what? It happened again.

After spending Saturday laying on the couch, I went home and spent Sunday at my parents house, keeping my leg wrapped in hot towels and getting some antibiotics to improve my situation. Yesterday, Hufton picked me up to drive me to my appointment with the doctor. He expressed some disappointment that I hadn't gained any superpowers from my second spider bite, though he was excited by the idea that I was slowly building immunity to the Brown Recluse spider. I told him that it would be useful for next year, when I venture off to the Amazon by myself.

I'll get the Maine pictures up as soon as Brendan calls to tell me where they're posted.
