I Have 23 Buddy Bell Cards

Wow, not one but TWO comments from Pete Ladd yesterday. I really am the luckiest man alive. Oh, and I'm older. I think it's officially 2:18 PM or something like that, but I can already feel it. I even got my first AARP magazine in the mail today. While I was looking for Pete Ladd and Buddy Bell pictures, I noticed that the Google logo appeared to have tiny slices of birthday cake around it. Initially, I thought that Google had just been paying me respect, but it turns out that Google is celebrating its seventh birthday.

As I told my Mom, I feel the same as I did when I turned 22, and I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing. Birthdays have a strange way of making you reflect a little on the current status of your life, at least for me they do. What do you have? What do you want? Where are you going? These questions seem to be more in the forefront of my mind on September 27th than they do at any other time of the year. Maybe it's just me.

I laughed out loud after I just opened a birthday card from Ron Hall, the guy that manages my IRA. That's quality. Anyway, if you'll excuse me, rather than spending any more time philosophizing on my blog, I'm going to try and enjoy the big day. I'll see you later.
