Take a Look, It's in a Book

It's a long weekend for most people...for me, it's just another Monday where I don't show up for work. I've got an interview tomorrow, so here's hoping that won't continue.

Late last week, I became the last person to finish reading the Da Vinci Code. That reminds me, I should contact the publishers and let them know they can stop printing copies. Officially, I started reading it when I went to Paris with Hufton & Co. in March. You see, when it comes to reading, I have a serious problem. I'm completely illiterate. Okay, not really. The real problem is that I read about 50 pages of a book until I realize that I'd rather be reading another book. At that point, I start reading another book, then realize that I should be reading another book. This continues, until eventually, the other book that I want to read turns out to be one of the books I started. I suppose this could be looked at as a metaphor for my life as an unfocused lunatic. Regardless, it typically takes me an unreasonable amount of time to finish a book. Right now, I'm going back to "Blink" by Malcolm Gladwell, which I initially started reading in place of The DaVinci Code, but decided to read The DaVinci Code instead. See what I mean?

Alright, that's all for now. I'll be back.
