Blame it on the Rain
I remember learning in first grade that March goes in like a lion and out like a lamb, while April showers bring May flowers. I think think this year the kids are learning that April showers bring additional May showers, possibly followed by flash flooding and water damage. Not as catchy, I know, but sometimes the truth hurts.

During my lunch break today, I left the office and thought "That's weird, why isn't it raining?". I figure Mother Nature is either trying to encourage me to buy new and more effective windshield wiper blades or convince Liz Cate that maybe moving to Seattle isn't such a great idea. People are swimming in the streets of Massachusetts, but they say that it won't be until early Tuesday morning that the major rivers will overflow.
